Every movement Benjamin Graves made was watched by President Bill.
President Bill's eyes gleamed with the confidence of certain victory.
He spoke somewhat lazily. "Mr. Graves, the crisis has only just ended. There are still many matters waiting for you and me to handle. We truly do not have much time."
"You should at least give me a verbal promise, shouldn't you? As for how exactly it should be implemented, I will draft..."
Before President Bill could finish, Benjamin Graves shook his head. "I'm sorry, I refuse!"
"What?" President Bill frowned, even wondering if he had heard something wrong.
"As a Wizard..." Benjamin Graves pulled his Wand from his pocket, his voice trembling with excitement. "Such a thing... none of us can accept it!"
Seeing the Wand in Benjamin Graves's hand, President Bill was visibly stunned.
A trace of confusion flashed through his eyes as he asked tentatively, "That is... a Wand? It did not disappear?"
"Of course it is a Wand!" Benjamin Graves smiled calmly. "If it was erased by one kind of magic, it can naturally be restored by another."
Even as he said that, he was utterly bewildered himself.
Still, as long as his Wand was back, there was little need to investigate how it had happened.
He raised his Wand and gave it a light wave. A few sparks fell from its tip, as though celebrating their new life.
"What exactly did you do?" President Bill's voice weakened as he asked, his gaze flickering. "Why did it just come back like this?"
