Vizet's method of passing through a group of Red Caps while holding the "wooden stick" immediately drew a round of applause from the Gryffindors.

Harry noticed the red flash of the Disarming Charm just now, and a familiar feeling rose in him at once. He silently recited the incantation for the Disarming Charm, planning to do the same as Vizet later.

The next test was a pond. A fallen leaf happened to drift down, and Vizet waved his Wand at the leaf. A stone bridge abruptly took shape.

As Vizet followed the stone bridge and walked unhurriedly to the other side, another burst of applause rang out.

Seeing several students eager to try, even practicing Transfiguration on stones on the ground, Lupin hurriedly said, "If you want to get past the Grindylow... there are actually other ways..."

One Grindylow seemed a little unwilling to accept it. It suddenly leaped out of the water and reached out to grab Vizet.

Vizet waved his Wand and chanted the spell, "Force Loosening!"

The Grindylow's body froze, and it fell back into the water.

Lupin hurriedly said, "That is another way."

Leaving behind the Grindylows growling low at him, Vizet entered a stretch of seemingly ordinary path.

He seemed to have sensed something. While keeping his pace, he raised his Wand and cast the Universal Counter-Curse.

As he spoke the incantation, "Finite Incantatem," the various small Dark Magic traps along the road lost their effect, failing to stop him at all.

"He really is considerate..." Sirius Black said beside Lupin. "A very subtle Universal Counter-Curse... just enough to let him pass through the traps, and I don't have to replenish the magic either."

"Yes!" Lupin nodded with some emotion.

A small pond appeared ahead. Vizet noticed a string of "glub-glub" bubbles, waved his
