"Huh?"
Hearing Angelina Johnson agree, not only Harry and Ron, but also the few students who had come over to watch the fun, all made the same sound.
"Oh! That's wonderful!" Fred held his head high and puffed out his chest, raising a hand to pluck the strings and strum the ukulele a few times. "Then we'll see you at the Christmas Ball!"
"See you then!" Angelina Johnson's cheeks were a little red as she laughed and chatted with the group of girls and walked into the Great Hall.
Fred and George moved in perfect sync, playing their ukuleles again. This time the tune was short and cheerful as they circled the boys watching the commotion.
George patted Ron on the shoulder. "Dear Ronald, how does it feel? Want to hire us?"
Fred picked up, "We can play for you! Encourage you! Offer all kinds of emotional support!"
"Exactly!" George nodded in agreement. "Speaking of which, how many times have we succeeded now?"
"If we only count us..." Fred said thoughtfully, "it should be just once."
Ron asked curiously, "What does that mean?"
George said, "Yesterday there was a young fellow from Ilvermorny. He played the ukulele while inviting Fleur Delacour."
Ron could not wait to ask, "Did he succeed?"
"He failed." Fred shrugged, then changed tack. "But another Beauxbatons girl took the initiative and invited the young fellow."
Ron raised an eyebrow, still looking deeply suspicious. "That actually happens?"
As soon as he said that, the boys watching around them started discussing it.
"My friends..." George gently plucked the strings again. "That is the charm of music!"
Harry felt that he was truly tempted. "How are you planning to charge?"
Fred held up one finger. "For the trifling price of only three Gold Galleons!"
George held up three fingers.
