Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
For a moment, the dilapidated warehouse yard was lit up by multicolored radiance.
Over a hundred Martial Soul phantoms appeared at the same time. The sight was quite spectacular, yet it also carried a touch of the bitterness of those struggling at the bottom.
As Chen Mu had expected, most of the children who awakened Martial Souls had low-grade, attribute-less Martial Souls. Their forms were mostly common tools or ordinary beasts: hoes, sickles, and iron hammers—the three fools of farm tools were all present—along with dusty mountain rats, scrawny wind rabbits, and ordinary wild grasses like Blue Silver Grass that could be found everywhere...
All of them glowed dimly, their Soul Power fluctuations faint.
Of course, there were still a few bright spots among them.
The dozen or so boys and girls whom Chen Mu had preliminarily judged to have Level Three or Four talent clearly had Martial Souls that were a cut above the rest, mid-grade Martial Souls with a single attribute and a tendency toward true intent:
Land Martial Souls: a Rock Hide Wild Boar with thick fur that growled lowly (Earth Attribute); an Iron Claw Mountain Cat that moved swiftly, its claws flashing with cold light (Metal Attribute); an Iron Thorn Vine rooted in the earth, wrapped in thorns (Wood Attribute).
Aquatic Martial Souls: a Green Scale Fish with scales shimmering with watery light (Water Attribute); an Iron Armor River Crab with a heavy shell, waving its little pincers (primarily water / combined with earth true intent).
Flying Martial Souls: a Gray Feather Falcon with dull gray feathers but sharp eyes (Wind Attribute); a Sharp Beak Sparrow with a small wingspan but a sharp beak (Wind Attribute).
Plant Martial Souls: a Stone Stamen Flower with tough petals
