Chen Yu leads the Chen Family and oversees Chen Lin Village publicly. He inherited the Seven Kill Sword, a Martial Soul famed as the continent's number-one offensive Martial Soul and comparable to the Clear Sky Hammer. Its killing intent can increase its power, but also demands that its wielder continually manage the accompanying malevolent energy. 2

His family lineage traces back to the Azure Steel Sword Chen Family, which renamed itself to evade the Heaven Holding Sect.
