Bentley rolled his eyes at the question. "I already told you, Liang Shui and I get along very well!"
As long as you could guarantee there was nothing wrong with what you brought out, why worry that no one would take you in?
The B-rank pondered for a moment, then pulled a tiny storage device from his clothes.
"This storage device has anti-scanning and self-destruct functions. When the countdown reaches eight seconds, enter the twenty-one-digit password..."
The storage device was no bigger than a fingernail. It would not be easy to crack the self-destruct mechanism, and while the decryption method was simple, ordinary people would never think of it.
Silver Fir stepped forward and took the storage device, then turned to Bentley. "Sir..."
Lao Ben waved a hand and said flatly, "Go check it. If there's no problem, we'll get involved in this matter."
Silver Fir rose into the air and flew straight toward the rear courtyard.
A minute later, he flew back and gave a slight nod. "The footage is genuine."
"Fine." Bentley nodded. "I'll head back to the rear courtyard first. No matter who comes, we're taking this on."
Just then, a Patrol officer walked over with a Wristwatch in his hand.
"Sir, our Chief Patrol Captain would like to have a few words with you."
Bentley waved a hand and replied casually, "I don't know him. If he has something to say, have him find Ironhide Snake."
The Patrol officer froze. "Guardian Supreme... are you acquainted with him?"
Bentley merely gave him a cool glance and did not answer at all.
Lao Ben had always been clumsy with words. His ability to act far surpassed his ability to talk, and he had only recently advanced, so he was not sure how a Supreme ought to conduct himself.
