The Escaped Fish (Third Update)
What these soldiers wanted to ask was whether they could command unmanned Small Ships, and if so, how.
After the question was raised, Fourth Boss answered after a while, "Of course. Your Small Ships can serve as secondary nodes."
"But the key is that you need to bring sufficient computational power... our AI has approved it."
He had sent the question to First One before giving that answer.
Xiao Hu's authorization process was also quite foolproof. The soldiers only needed to connect to a Smart Terminal, and it would handle the rest.
These military elites might not be proficient in technology, but who could fail at something so simple?
Smart Terminals... the military generally prohibited soldiers from carrying them personally, but the fleet had brought quite a few this time.
This was mainly so the soldiers could entertain themselves through the Smart Terminals during their downtime.
Space travel itself was stifling, and they were behind enemy lines. The pressure could not possibly be low, so they needed some entertainment to ease their minds.
These terminals did not have particularly high computational power, but they were generally rather large. Their main selling points were that they were hard to conceal and tough as nails.
But with that kind of size, no matter how poor their computational power was, it could not be too poor—roughly equivalent to a Pioneer's computational power, though inferior to Storm.
In any case, that level of computational power was enough to command three or four Small Ships.
So the soldiers happily carried their Smart Terminals off to apply for other escorting Small Ships.
Fourth Boss did not forget to remind them, "Remember to add Self-Destruct Devices, otherwise authorization won't be possible!"
In fact, Qu Jianlei was somewhat surprised to hear that the
