Qu Jianlei had only asked on a sudden impulse. Even if the other party was Above Supreme, he was not particularly afraid if things truly turned hostile.
"Above Supreme... me?" Nutrient Solution laughed upon hearing that. "Sir, don't joke around. I'm only a little over forty."
"An A-rank at just over forty?" Qu Jianlei was astonished. "That impressive?"

"My wish is simply to live out my remaining hundred years safely. Advancing to Above Supreme would be nice, but if I can't, that's fine too."
It was rare to see such an arrogant A-rank, Qu Jianlei thought, feeling somewhat strange.
However, he could not muster any desire to be angry. "Then find somewhere to lie low. What you're doing now is very dangerous."
"I'm very relaxed right now," Nutrient Solution replied casually, taking out another pack of cigarettes. "Want one?"
Qu Jianlei accepted one. "Good thing it's only a drizzle. If the rain were heavier, they'd get wet."
He was indeed quite relaxed. Being around this little A-rank brought him no pressure at all. Instead, he felt an inexplicable sense of ease.
The two walked silently for a while, listening to rain pattering against the leaves
