Between the heaven and earth, the most common spiritual qi of heaven and earth was the Sun, Moon, and Star Lights, also called Three Lights Righteous Qi. Besides these, there were all sorts of natural qi.
For instance, when a cultivator was in the Foundation Establishment realm, practicing the complete-cycle cultivation technique, if their body was congenitally deficient, they needed to harvest external qi to supplement it. This technique of harvesting and absorbing often involved facing an ancient tree, breathing in and out, drawing the tree's natural qi into their body to strengthen their own primordial qi.
Flowers, trees, birds, beasts, insects, and fish all possessed natural qi. Though not as intense as the Sun, Moon, and Star Lights, it was by no means trivial.
Beyond these, there was earth vein qi, earth lung qi, wind qi, fire qi, thunder qi, and so on.
However, the spiritual qi of heaven and earth surging from Ganyang Mountain was entirely different from all of these. This kind of spiritual qi had existed since the creation of the world, remaining as the leftover creation of heaven and earth, also known as ancestral qi.
A place rich in ancestral qi was called a holy land.
There were many such holy lands in the Earthly Immortal Realm, but they were all claimed and owned.
Empress Houtu had originally thought that the Western Ox Continent, situated in the Dark Sea, was barren and desolate, never expecting that there would actually be a holy land here!
The scale of Ganyang Mountain was not small, and even placed within the Earthly Immortal Realm, it could be considered upper-middle. If placed in other worlds, perhaps only one in a thousand or even ten thousand worlds would possess a holy land, and its scale would definitely not be this large.
