A Wu was still standing guard at the entrance to the underground city.
He looked quite shocked when he saw us again.
Especially when he saw Goudan'er—his expression was as though he had seen a ghost. He had a guilty conscience. Perhaps he had known all along that something had happened to Goudan'er; otherwise, he would not have been so startled.

A Wu's expression changed slightly. Goudan'er swept his gaze over the Qing Yi and red-clad guards at the entrance, then shouted, "Stand down!" The Qing Yi and red-clad guards truly retreated to the side.
Goudan'er was the underground city's Boundary Keeper and its Ruler. By all rights, this was his territory.
He looked at A Wu. "What exactly is the situation inside right now?"
A Wu pressed his lips together. "The Mo Family is in chaos. Mo Cheng and Mo Xuan have split into two factions.
