I coughed lightly and glanced at General Ape beside me. He looked back at me, his gaze full of chill, as though I were forcing Tom Cat to surrender power.

"Do you know who your greatest enemy is right now?" I asked Tom Cat.

Tom Cat thought for a moment before saying, "I think our biggest enemies right now are those people from the Parallel Worlds. They all have their own schemes, but for now, they can't pose much of a threat to me. Still, there is something I'm worried about—the people who escaped from the base. They were never truly loyal to the Doctor in the first place. I'm afraid that after escaping, they'll join forces with those people from the Parallel Worlds. They know the base too well. They even know quite a bit about some of the Doctor's high-level experimental projects. We can't let those people live, or they'll become a disaster for the entire base."

I sneered. "Do the people you mean include Zhang Jing and those mechanical beasts beyond your control?"

"Zhang Jing? Oh, no, I wasn't talking about her. She was the person the Doctor trusted most. You could say she was his right and left hand at the base. We merely had some misunderstandings between us. Perhaps she was incited by those people, which was why she left the base in anger. I originally thought there was understanding and trust between us,
