The scene suddenly froze, and a Black Hole appeared in the snow-white wall.
"Please enter for a more direct experience and understanding." That voice sounded again.
I did not move.
I had no idea what lay inside that Black Hole. I even suspected that this so-called Exhibition Hall might be a scam.
Perhaps entering that Black Hole would teleport me to some unknown place.
If it were merely another location in this world, that would be one thing. But if it led somewhere beyond our understanding, returning would be utterly impossible.
"Please enter for a more direct experience and understanding." The voice urged me.
That made me hesitate even more. I instinctively took a step back, but the Black Hole began to expand. I wanted to run, only to realize there was nowhere to retreat. Just as panic seized me, the Black Hole swallowed me whole.
"Welcome to Death Experience. Here, you can experience the extraordinary methods of life from one to fourteen dimensions. You will undergo several highly unusual forms of death."
What the hell? Experience death?
As I was wondering about it, I suddenly saw a faint glow.
I found myself standing on what seemed to be a broad road, much like one of our asphalt highways. The road was spotless, without a scrap of trash in sight. I even suspected it was completely dust-free.
I looked around. Other than the road, there seemed to be towering walls on both sides that stretched into the sky. At any rate, I could not see their ends with my naked eye.
I sucked in a breath.
Was this the beginning? What would my first death experience be like?
Would these two walls crush me into a flat sheet, turning me into a one-dimensional creature before I died?
Just as my
