After all, anything was possible.

When you knew nothing and lived in a muddle, you felt that everything was normal. Beauty was beautiful, brilliance was brilliant, sorrow was sorrow, and joy was joy.

But once you truly gained even a partial understanding of this world, you realized that it was nothing like that. The achievements you had once been so proud of were laughable, and your so-called success was merely an inevitable outcome in a prearranged game.
