Alien Return Plan, Speculation

I hadn't expected that laboratory to be capable of such a massive undertaking.

They had resurrected figures from legend.

One-Eye sighed. "Do you think it's crazy? Unbelievable?"

I nodded. This had truly exceeded my understanding.

Only then did One-Eye slowly continue, "A long time ago, a group of Ancient Humans who had returned from outside proposed a plan."

I knew about the Ancient Humans he meant, the humans who had escaped Earth during those several extinction eras. They had returned to Earth, but they did not merely want to come home. Relying on their civilization, they wanted to do something here.

Put nicely, they wanted to advance human civilization. Put bluntly, they wanted to become the rulers of this Earth.

Naturally, they would encounter all kinds of resistance. Not every human who had returned from outside shared such ambitions; some still thought normally. They would stop those ambitious people, believing that the people of Earth should maintain and gradually advance their own world themselves.

I could understand what One-Eye was saying, and so could Ying Gou and Ye Jinghong.

Ye Jinghong even felt it more deeply, because she too had returned from outside.

Although Ye Jinghong said she and I came from the same place, I had no memories of it. Deep down, I still considered myself a native of Earth, at least until I truly recovered those memories.

"What kind of plan was it?" I asked him.

One-Eye replied, "The Alien Return Plan."

This was my first time hearing of this so-called Alien Return Plan, but I vaguely sensed that it was something I had encountered before.

For instance, those people who had once existed only in myths, yet had already appeared or were about to appear.

I looked at Ying Gou. He was looking at me as well.
