Looking at myself in the mirror, I felt a little dazed.
Was this really me?
As the saying went, clothes made the man, and saddles made the horse. This groom's outfit actually made even my own eyes light up. The me in the mirror looked damn handsome.
Little Nian Bai was looking at me too. The kid was dressed in a smart little suit as well, except mine was light purple while his was silver-gray.
"I'm being a flower boy today," he said proudly.
I frowned. "How can you be a flower boy? You're our son."
"I don't care. I want to be a flower boy."
"But this kind of wedding doesn't seem to need a flower boy."
No matter what I said, he insisted on being the flower boy. When I said too much, tears actually glimmered faintly in his eyes. In the end, he simply turned his head away and stopped talking to me.
This kid was really stubborn.
I sighed. "Fine, if you want to be a flower boy, then be one. But you're the boy flower attendant. Who's the girl flower attendant?"
"Pipi! She's really pretty. I like her a lot."
Oh? The moment he mentioned Pipi, his face lit up. The embarrassment from when I had teased him earlier vanished without a trace.
I had no idea who this Pipi was. As far as I remembered, there didn't seem to be such a little girl at Little Ancestral Hall Entrance. Although I couldn't say I knew everyone there, judging by the kid's description, that girl probably wasn't originally from Little Ancestral Hall Entrance.
I was even a little curious. Was this Pipi really as cute and pretty as the kid claimed?
And besides, he was still so young. Was he already starting to like girls?
