If worlds were islands, the regions lying between them were all the Void Sea.
To survive in the Void Sea and cross over to another world, one either needed overwhelmingly formidable strength that allowed him to traverse the void, or heaven-defying fortune to drift through the Void Sea without encountering any danger.
The Azure World and the Shui Yue World were originally separated by a vast distance, and theoretically, it was impossible to see each other from within the Void Sea.
Yet following the defeat of Goddess Nüwa in the divine war tens of millions of years ago, the Shui Yue World became a subsidiary world of the Azure World. The Grand Master controlled the Shui Yue Heavenly Dao, migrating the Shui Yue World right next to the Azure World.
Naturally, the Azure World was not the only world surrounding the Shui Yue World; at this moment, there were over a dozen worlds suspended like bubbles around the Azure World.
After conquering a world, they would name it using the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches combined with numbers. In the records of the Azure World, the Shui Yue World was named World No. 23.
The previous twenty-two worlds had already had their world origins extracted by the Grand Master and distributed to other Origin Dao Lords.
The shapes of the worlds varied!
Some worlds were floating stars, some were massive suspended continents, some were scattered islands, and some were the remains of fallen ancient gods...
Though the main bodies of the worlds differed, every single world possessed a world barrier that enveloped the entire world like a bubble.
