The entire country rarely sees clear skies, remaining almost constantly soaked in damp rainwater, which has given rise to the unique architectural style of this nation.
Houses and main streets are dotted everywhere with drainage pipes, giving off a wasteland steampunk vibe.
The Rain Village is a small nation sandwiched between major powers. During every Shinobi World War, it becomes a battlefield for the great nations, leaving countless tragic memories for its people.
Amidst such an environment, two gods were born in the Rain Village.
Hanzo and Pain!
Hanzo possessed immense power. He once single-handedly defeated a young Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, bestowing upon them the title of the Leaf's Three Ninja.
Shrouded in a hazy, gloomy drizzle, combined with Hanzo the Salamander's distaste for foreign diplomacy, the entire village maintained an air of mystery in the minds of outsiders.

the era ruled by the demigod Hanzo had long since ended, and the Rain Village had ushered in a new god among men, Pain.
Under the protection of two successive powerful rulers, the ordinary citizens managed to live a barely contented life.
Citizens walked the streets as they always did when suddenly a level-one crisis alarm wailed across the entire village, startling everyone into frantically rushing toward the shelters scattered throughout the village.
At that exact same moment, a figure with twin wings sprouting from their back streaked across the sky, rapidly appearing outside the gates of the Rain Village.
This was a blue-haired woman wearing a black cloak adorned with red clouds. A pair of wings formed from a vast quantity of gathered paper protruded from her back, allowing her to hover in mid-air and look down upon the dim
