Apocalypse, the oldest mutant on Earth, stood on the yellow-sands earth, revealing a confident smile.
He was this confident simply because Thanos opposite him only had four Infinity Stones.
He had briefly glimpsed the Infinity Stones before, feeling the vast and majestic energy upon them; without all six Infinity Stones, he did not fear Thanos at all.
"Hmph! Arrogant." Thanos let out a cold snort.
Swish, swish!
Four-colored energy beams instantly shot out from Thanos's golden Infinity Gauntlet, piercing through the air and reaching Apocalypse in a flash.
Bang!
Apocalypse's reaction speed was very fast. Raising both hands, he propped up two layers of energy light screens around his body, looking like glass splashed with water.
The light screens looked fragile, yet they blocked the four-colored energy beams.
"Such crude energy-application techniques, you really are just mediocre," Apocalypse said with heavy disdain.
Then, Apocalypse's pupils turned pale as his superpower activated, without any energy or light halo appearing.
The lack of glowing halos and energy did not mean his attack was weak.
The earth, rock, and yellow sand of the plain within Apocalypse's field of vision softened further. In less than a breath's time, the entire plain turned into a sea of sand.
Thanos's eyes flicked. This guy's superpower is truly formidable. Is he going to leave me no foothold across the entire plain?
He had suffered losses from Apocalypse before, knowing that Apocalypse possessed a move called Sand Solidification.
First softening the earth to make people's bodies sink into it, or wrapping the enemy with sand and then solidifying it, he achieved
