I Am the Mecha King

Xiao Zhen successfully infiltrated Moon Temple. Perhaps because he was too small and now bore the mark of the Motorcycle Clan, the people of Moon Temple let him in without much trouble.

Vanguard, who had just won a battle, was scolded by his master, the Moon Temple City Lord.

Though Vanguard had been scolded by his master, he still failed to learn his lesson and remained as headstrong as ever.

The Moon Temple City Lord believed that since they had offended Tiger King, Tiger King's army would certainly come seeking revenge.

Fortunately, the City Lord knew that the two robots capable of using Thunder Half-Moon Slash and Sky-Shaking Wave Kill could perform a Combined Ultimate Technique specifically designed to counter Tiger King.

Sky-Shaking Wave Kill was a skill exclusive to the Moon Temple lineage, and the Moon Temple City Lord himself could use it. As for the lineage of Thunder Half-Moon Slash, its inheritor in this generation seemed to be called Blaze, who lived in the City of Time.

Clinging to his last hope, the Moon Temple City Lord hurriedly ordered his disciple Vanguard to go to the City of Time, find Blaze, and ask him to help deal with Tiger King.

However, what the Moon Temple City Lord never expected was that Vanguard would encounter Tiger King's vanguard force, which had come to seek revenge, along the way. But the Blue Leopard Beast leading them was rather weak and was driven off by Vanguard after only a few exchanges.

After that little incident, Vanguard felt that Tiger King's troops were nothing special. He could not even be bothered to look for Blaze and simply turned around to head home halfway there.

Of course, Vanguard had already prepared an excuse for his master. He claimed that the City of Time was under attack by Black Iron Beasts, so Blaze had no time to come to their aid.

With no hope of reinforcements, the Moon Temple City Lord had no choice but to gather all the warriors and discuss what to do next.

What the Moon Temple City Lord did not know was that Blaze was only Level 6 at the moment. He could not even use his skills, much less a Combined Ultimate Technique.

If Vanguard had really brought Blaze here, the Combined Ultimate Technique might not have been unleashed at all. Instead, Blaze might have died at Moon Temple.

Within a cluster of vast halls, a yellow police car robot sat in the seat of honor while countless robots stood below him, including Vanguard.

The robot seated at the head was the City Lord of Moon Temple. His level was extremely high, already reaching Level 19. In the entire Mecha Beast World, he was second only to the Fierce Beast Clan's three Level 20 War Kings.

With a bleak expression, the Moon Temple City Lord said, "Tiger King's troops will be here soon. Make your preparations. We will evacuate Moon Temple immediately."

A purple police car warrior asked in surprise, "What? Evacuate Moon Temple?"

A Green Guard Warrior asked doubtfully, "City Lord, where are we evacuating to?"

The Moon Temple City Lord hesitated before saying, "Well, we can seek refuge in Energy City."

The warriors below let out cries of surprise. Energy City was the strongest fortress of their Motorcycle Clan.

The Moon Temple City Lord continued, "Energy City is the strongest fortress of our Motorcycle Clan. We will be safer there."

After the City Lord finished speaking, someone below spoke again.

"But we have not had much contact with Energy City. Will they take us in?"

The Green Guard Warrior beside him agreed as well. "Our Motorcycle Clan is scattered and divided now, with no contact between us. I'm afraid they might refuse to let us into the city!"

After considering it, the Moon Temple City Lord continued, "Probably not. The City Lord of Energy City is not that kind of person. We can give it a try."

At that moment, Vanguard could no longer stand it. Though he had been severely scolded earlier, he still had something to say.

"Master, our situation isn't that serious, is it? Even if Tiger King comes, we can still put up some resistance!"

But the Moon Temple City Lord shook his head and said pessimistically, "No. Once Tiger King arrives, Moon Temple will fall."

Vanguard looked disdainful. He thought his master's timid personality was making a mountain out of a molehill, and he said arrogantly:

"Master, you're underestimating our people. I, Vanguard, defeated two of Tiger King's great generals by myself. I'd say Tiger King isn't all that impressive."

The Moon Temple City Lord slammed his hand against the chair and said angrily, "Hmph! You still dare to boast? It was because you acted so recklessly and had no idea of your own limits that you took the initiative to provoke Tiger King's subordinates and brought us into this predicament."

Vanguard said dismissively, "What predicament are we in? As long as we all unite, we can definitely beat Tiger King and his troops until they are utterly defeated."

After saying that, Vanguard began rallying everyone to stand with him and defend their home to the death.

Inspired by Vanguard, the crowd's blood began to boil. They started shouting, looking completely confident.

However, the Moon Temple City Lord seated above interrupted them. He began describing just how powerful Tiger King was, then started rebuking Vanguard.

Vanguard refused to back down and began arguing with his master on reasoned grounds. Master and disciple soon fell into a quarrel.

In the end, seeing that his master remained stubborn, Vanguard simply said to everyone:

"Fine. Since Master refuses to agree, let's hold a fair vote. Those willing to stay and defend our home, stand on my side. Those who want to run away, stand with my master."

The City Lord was so furious that his face twisted. He shouted, "What did you say?!"

Unable to contain his anger, the Moon Temple City Lord threw a punch directly at Vanguard, knocking him to the ground.

Vanguard, lying on the ground, said in disbelief, "Master, you hit me."

The Moon Temple City Lord sighed and shouted, "Everyone, leave quickly! If we wait any longer, it will be too late! Tiger King's strength is not something Moon Temple can resist. Rather than make needless sacrifices, we should preserve our strength for the future."

At that moment, Vanguard got to his feet and said unwillingly, "Hmph! I would rather die in battle than become a coward who runs away."

And so, encouraged by Vanguard, everyone began shouting, looking as though they intended to fight to the death for their home.

Seeing this, the Moon Temple City Lord was not pleased at all. Instead, he slumped hopelessly in the seat of honor.

"Clap, clap, clap." A burst of loud applause rang out from within the crowd.

"Very good. With morale this high, no wonder Moon Temple's defenses are so weak, yet it has managed to remain standing until today."

The stranger's voice immediately drew everyone's attention. The crowd parted to make way, revealing a child walking out.

Vanguard walked over to Xiao Zhen, crouched down, and asked curiously, "Kid, who are you? Why haven't I seen you before?"

This child was none other than Xiao Zhen, the new Mecha King of the Motorcycle Clan.

Xiao Zhen glanced at the enormous Vanguard and said jokingly, "I came to Moon Temple a few days ago. As for my identity, I'm afraid you won't believe me if I tell you."

"Oh?" Vanguard was intrigued and continued, "Then tell me. Let's hear what you have to say."

Xiao Zhen raised his little head and shouted, "Then listen carefully! I am the Mecha King of the Motorcycle Clan!"

The scene instantly fell silent. Before long, almost every robot burst out laughing. This little brat actually claimed he was the legendary Mecha King. Would anyone believe that?

Vanguard laughed even more wantonly, repeatedly pounding both hands against the ground. He laughed the loudest of all, as if he might laugh his parts right off.

Xiao Zhen, however, remained completely calm. He had long expected this reaction. Over the past few days, he had been exploring the Mecha King's abilities and had achieved some results.

The Moon Temple City Lord seated above, on the other hand, had a glimmer of light appear in his eyes. He looked at the child below. Though he found it hard to believe as well, he did not think anyone would dare to joke about the Mecha King.
