I'm Not Called Green Iron Beast

The City Lord did not know whether they should hold the City of Time. He was already old; it was time to leave some decisions to the younger generation.

So I looked at his disciple, the City of Time's foremost general, Blaze.

"Blaze, what do you think?"

Blaze looked at the densely packed Black Iron Beasts outside the city and said resolutely, "The City of Time is my home. I will never retreat."

The City Lord nodded in agreement. "Good. Then we'll fight them to the death."

The City Lord still held considerable prestige. After he spoke, all the warriors of the City of Time cried out, one after another, that they would fight to the death.

A smile tugged at Xiao Zhen's lips. Though this was dangerous, as the Mecha King, he was quite gratified to see the Motorcycle Clan's warriors showing such spirit.

Within the Black Iron Beast army below the city, Azure Iron Beast, one of Golden Iron Beast's deputies and a level-eight warrior, was making a suggestion to Golden Iron Beast.

"General, why don't I take some men to scout the way first?"

Golden Iron Beast agreed and silently nodded. In his view, the City of Time before them was not much different from the smaller cities they had conquered before.

If there was any difference, it was only that this city was a little larger and had a larger population. Its combat strength could not be very great, though. After all, they were all the same type of sports car robots, with melee capabilities practically nonexistent. They could only obediently become energy for their leveling up.

Azure Iron Beast had led the assault on the previous small city. Golden Iron Beast had great faith in his strength.

As night fell, an iron hook caught onto the city wall, and several furtive figures quietly climbed up the ropes.

Two sports car warriors seemed to hear something and hurried over to investigate.

"I think I heard something just now. Did you hear it?"

"I heard it, but I don't know what made the sound."

While the two warriors were talking, a green figure leaped behind them. By the time they reacted, it was already too late.

Azure Iron Beast grabbed one warrior in each claw and, before they could make a sound, threw them into the moat below the city.

Standing atop the wall, Azure Iron Beast let out several cold sneers.

Then more and more Black Iron Beasts began climbing the city wall along rope after rope.

"Aah!!!" Just as Azure Iron Beast was reveling in his arrogance, a piercing scream rang out from nearby.

Hearing it, Azure Iron Beast grew annoyed. This was supposed to be a secret surprise attack. How could they make such a loud noise?

He turned toward the source of the scream, only to find a blue robot standing there.

At the blue robot's feet lay a Black Iron Beast that had already been taken out.

At this point, unless Azure Iron Beast was an idiot, how could he fail to realize that they had been exposed?

Azure Iron Beast asked, "Who are you?"

Vanguard gripped his weapon tightly and said calmly, "Moon Temple, Vanguard!"

Moon Temple? Azure Iron Beast thought carefully. He seemed to have received reports before that many people from the Moon Temple had appeared nearby. He had not expected to encounter one here.

Soon, many Motorcycle Clan warriors also arrived and completely surrounded the Black Iron Beasts that had climbed the wall.

"Xiao Zhen, I didn't expect you to guess right. Black Iron Beasts really did come to launch a sneak attack at night." Not far away, Hot Wheels and Xiao Zhen were watching from the side.

Xiao Zhen ignored Hot Wheels' praise and shouted directly at Azure Iron Beast, "Green Iron Beast, today is your day to die. Got any last words? Spit them out now!"

For some reason, hearing that child call him Green Iron Beast made Azure Iron Beast feel deeply uncomfortable.

Azure Iron Beast cursed loudly, "My name is Azure Iron Beast, not Green Iron Beast! Brat, who are you?"

Xiao Zhen said indifferently, "Whether you're Azure Iron Beast or Green Iron Beast, you're still dead today. But since you asked, I'll mercifully tell you. I am the Motorcycle Clan's Mecha King, Xiao Zhen! Well? Scared now?"

Azure Iron Beast said disdainfully, "You? The Mecha King? Who are you trying to fool? So what if you discovered us? I can still slaughter every last one of you."

Seeing this guy acting so cocky right in front of him, Vanguard said unconvinced, "Arrogance requires strength. You're so arrogant, but I wonder if your skills measure up."

"Wait, Vanguard. Let me handle this. I want to see what this guy can do too." Blaze hurriedly stopped Vanguard and voiced his intention.

Vanguard looked at Blaze, then at Azure Iron Beast. In the end, he could only nod helplessly. Even if he killed Azure Iron Beast himself, his level probably would not rise much. He might as well let Blaze have him; perhaps Blaze could gain another level.

"Blaze, be careful. This guy doesn't look like an ordinary opponent. Don't be careless!"

Blaze nodded gratefully at Vanguard's concern. Then he summoned his broadsword and faced off against Azure Iron Beast.

"Aah!" Blaze shouted, raised his broadsword high, and leaped into the air, striking Azure Iron Beast with Thunder Half-Moon Slash.

Facing such a fierce Blaze, Azure Iron Beast gritted his teeth, unleashed all his energy, and used his pair of iron claws in a final desperate struggle.

Soon, the two collided, producing a powerful surge of energy. Blaze was one level higher than Azure Iron Beast, and tonight was a full moon, granting him the moonlight's blessing. Blaze had the complete upper hand. Given just a little time, he would be able to take Azure Iron Beast's life.

Seeing their general being suppressed, the few Black Iron Beasts on the wall could no longer sit still. Baring their fangs and brandishing their claws, they attempted to sneak up on Blaze from behind.

How could Vanguard let them have their way? His hands had been itching for a fight, so naturally he would not pass up this chance. With his twin halberds in hand, he immediately charged forward.

Though these Black Iron Beasts were all elites, their levels were far below Vanguard's.

Vanguard cut them down as easily as if he were fighting children, one with each halberd, without the slightest pressure. One Black Iron Beast after another was slashed off the city wall.

Seeing how efficiently Vanguard fought, the surrounding Motorcycle Clan warriors cheered for him. At the same time, they watched him absorb the battle energy and could not help feeling envious.

If they had absorbed that battle energy, they could have risen one or two levels at the very least.

Azure Iron Beast, however, was growing anxious. All the subordinates around him had been killed, and his situation had become dangerous. Even if he defeated Blaze, he would probably be killed by that guy from the Moon Temple.

The moment Azure Iron Beast grew flustered, he revealed an opening. Blaze seized the opportunity, kicked Azure Iron Beast to the ground, then followed up with a slash that ended him completely.

Before dying, Azure Iron Beast let out a shrill scream that could be heard clearly even in the Black Iron Beast camp outside the city.

Just as Blaze finished absorbing Azure Iron Beast's battle energy and finally rose to level ten, rejoicing in his breakthrough—

In the camp outside the city, Golden Iron Beast looked toward the city wall, his heart filled with grief. Today, he had lost an important subordinate and companion.

Blue Iron Beast walked to Golden Iron Beast's side and sighed. "General, it seems Azure Iron Beast failed, and he also..."

Golden Iron Beast said firmly, "I know. No matter who killed Azure Iron Beast, I will avenge him.

Pass down the order. At dawn tomorrow, launch a full assault on the city. I want to see who killed Azure Iron Beast."

"Yes!" Blue Iron Beast acknowledged the order and slowly withdrew.
