Retreat from the Battlefield

Tiger King, who was locked in a struggle with Bolly, also noticed Golden Iron Beast leaving. He mocked, "Kid, look. You saved that Golden Iron Beast, yet he ran off without even saying goodbye. What a lack of loyalty!"

Supersonic, controlled by Xiao Zhen, could not help backing up several steps. His strength was clearly running low, but he still said nonchalantly:

"So he left. So what? Saving Golden Iron Beast today was just something I did in passing. My main goal was to take advantage of your weakness and see whether I could leave you, a War King, here for good."

Xiao Zhen was speaking from the heart. Although he greatly admired Golden Iron Beast and had therefore decided to save his life rather than emerge after he had been killed, that was not the main reason.

The main reason was that although Golden Iron Beast was fairly strong, he was still far inferior to the three great War Kings. His threat level was limited.

If Wild Star had been the one in mortal danger, Xiao Zhen absolutely would not have minded waiting a little longer. He might even have personally stepped in and taken out two War Kings in one stroke. That would have been a huge gain.

"You want to kill me, Tiger King? Do you have what it takes? Watch that your boasting doesn't come back to bite you!" Tiger King sneered.

Xiao Zhen put in more force and barely withstood Tiger King's pressure again. He said with a cold laugh, "Whether I can kill you or not, I don't know. But if we drag this out a little longer, until most of your men are dead, will you be ready to fight all of us alone?

"By the way, I'm curious. Were you lying in ambush for Wild Star here earlier? Did you kill him?"

Tiger King's mouth twitched. The scene was all too familiar. Half a month ago at Moon Temple, it had been the same. He had brought too few men, and they had been too useless. By the end, he had feared being swarmed by the Motorcycle Clan. Now it was happening again. How was he supposed to fight this?

Tiger King unleashed his full strength and sent Supersonic flying with a single blow. However, his own leg gave way, and he nearly collapsed to the ground.

Supersonic, who had been sent flying, got back up. Xiao Zhen scanned Tiger King again and discovered that he still had 25% health remaining. If they stalled him a while longer, they might really be able to keep him here.

Tiger King took several breaths and said approvingly, "Not bad, kid. You're the first person to push me, Tiger King, into such a state."

Inside Supersonic, Xiao Zhen waved a hand and said modestly, "How could that be? You're a level 20 War King. How could I possibly be your match?"

Tiger King suddenly teleported, appearing directly behind Tornado, who was about to finish off Green Panther Beast and send him on his way. With one punch, he sent Tornado flying.

Tiger King was simply too fast. Tornado had only barely reacted in time to block with his twin blades, but he was still knocked into the rock wall before crashing heavily onto the ground.

Xiao Zhen hurried over and helped Tornado up, asking with concern, "Tornado, how are you? You're not seriously hurt, are you?"

Tornado, who had just risen to his feet, said painfully, "Don't worry. I'm not that fragile. It's just a pity. I was so close to killing that Green Panther Beast."

On the other side, Tiger King asked Green Panther Beast, who had just climbed to his feet behind him, "Green Panther Beast, how are you? Can you still fight?"

"Sorry, Marshal. I'm afraid I don't have much fighting strength left. Why don't we retreat? The brothers can barely hold on any longer!" Green Panther Beast said anxiously.

At that moment, a Black Panther Beast soldier was knocked down from above the valley and landed right in front of Tiger King, shattering into pieces.

Before he died, he let out a miserable scream. Then, right before Tiger King's eyes, a ball of blue leveling energy flew out and shot toward the top of the valley.

Tiger King looked around and saw that the battlefield was becoming increasingly clear. Most of those who had fallen were Black Panther Beasts under his command. If this continued, they really might be trapped here.

Gritting his teeth, Tiger King declared, "This is no place to stay. Everyone, heed my order! Cover each other and retreat!"

"Hmph, you think running away will be that easy? Everyone, open fire!" Xiao Zhen shouted.

At once, all the Motorcycle Warriors transformed into fighter jet forms and continuously strafed the ground from the sky.

Even though Tiger King and his men ran quickly, they could not escape the strafing from above. If there had not been many rocks nearby to use as cover, and if they had not left squads of Black Panther Beasts behind to cover the retreat, they probably would not have gotten far at all.

Tiger King turned to look at the leading aircraft in the sky, his eyes filled with hatred. He, Tiger King, had been mighty all his life, yet he had ended up in such a state.

"Stop!" A thunderous roar soared into the sky!

Tiger King looked ahead and found that disaster had truly come knocking. He had run into Wild Star again. Not long ago, he had tricked Wild Star and nearly taken his life. Wild Star would never let him off.

Xiao Zhen looked at the newly appeared Wild Star and scanned him with his detector. To his surprise, Wild Star still had 100% health. Hadn't he fought Tiger King not long ago? How did he still have so much health?

Xiao Zhen asked gravely, "Wild Star, are you planning to protect Tiger King? Didn't you two just fight not long ago?"

Wild Star stomped his foot, making the ground tremble. A powerful aura radiated from his body.

"Tiger King's life belongs to me, Wild Star. This has nothing to do with you. Today, I will beat him into scrap metal to vent the hatred in my heart!" Wild Star said furiously.

Tiger King looked at both sides, both of whom wanted his life. This would not do. The light in his eyes flickered, and he immediately came up with a plan.

"Wild Star, are you going to betray our Fierce Beast Clan? I, Tiger King, admit that I was in the wrong before and used some underhanded tricks. But do you know who those people across from us are?"

Wild Star suppressed the anger in his heart and asked solemnly, "Who cares who they are? Aren't they just the Motorcycle Clan? Even if Tyrannosaurus God himself came today, I would still take your life to honor my fallen brothers!"

"Heh heh!" Tiger King gave a sinister laugh. "The one leading them is the Mecha King of the Motorcycle Clan. If you join them in dealing with me today, then you will be betraying our Fierce Beast Clan."

"The Mecha King? Tiger King, who are you trying to fool? The Mecha King has been a legend for who knows how many years. He hasn't appeared in a thousand years." Wild Star said disdainfully.

"Wild Star, have you thought it through? Are you going to join those Motorcycle Clan warriors and deal with me?" Tiger King taunted.

"Hmph, why would I, Wild Star, ever join forces with the Motorcycle Clan? To kill you, I alone am enough!" Wild Star roared. Then he shouted at Xiao Zhen and the others, "Today is the day Tiger King and I settle things. This has nothing to do with your Motorcycle Clan. Get lost now, or I'll beat you along with him!"

"That Wild Star is really arrogant," Tornado said unhappily. "Xiao Zhen, give the order. Let's all attack and wipe out both him and Tiger King's forces!"

Tornado's words tempted even Xiao Zhen. With both enemy forces below suffering heavy casualties, the prospect of taking out two War Kings at once was simply too alluring!

But when he looked at Wild Star's health again, Xiao Zhen dismissed the tempting idea. A Wild Star at full health would not be easy to kill.

Besides, once they attacked, Xiao Zhen feared that the two groups below would immediately join forces. It was not impossible. Though they had fought each other to the death before, they were both part of the Fierce Beast Clan.

Furthermore, as marshals of the Fierce Beast Clan, the two of them certainly had more troops than these. Perhaps before long, large reinforcements would arrive.

"Everyone, heed my order. Return to Energy City immediately," Xiao Zhen ordered after considering it.

After seeing the aircraft in the sky fly away, Tiger King was the most relieved. After all, although he was fast, he was not faster than planes in the sky.

"Tiger King, those Motorcycle Clan fellows have already left. Now it's time to settle the grudge between you and me!" Wild Star shouted.

Tiger King now had just over 20% health remaining, but he assumed Wild Star probably had less than 10%. He did not possess the Mecha King's scanning ability and could not see Wild Star's true health.

Furthermore, although many of his Black Panther Beasts had died in the battle just now, their situation was still much better than that of the Black Iron Beast army on the other side.
