Conceding Defeat

In the center of the battlefield, everyone made way for a large circle, leaving only two figures—one gold, one silver—fighting fiercely within it.

Golden Iron Beast had already been through a period of battle, so his energy and health were no longer full. Silver Iron Beast was different. He had been loafing around before and had barely expended any combat power. He was practically at full health.

The two traded blows, crossing past one another again and again. From time to time, they would fire a barrage at each other or deliver a heavy strike. Every move was a ruthless, lethal technique. There was none of the camaraderie of longtime colleagues between them; both wanted nothing more than to put the other to death.

As the battle reached its climax, Golden Iron Beast and Silver Iron Beast simultaneously unleashed the Aurora Divine Wind Claw. They collided violently and began their final contest of strength.

One fought with the fury of being betrayed by the other, while the other fought with the jealousy he had suppressed for years. Both of them were fighting with everything they had.

Many people present were quietly cheering Golden Iron Beast on, including quite a few Motorcycle Clan warriors. After all, no one liked a traitor who suddenly turned on his allies. A person like that was hard to trust.

After a prolonged stalemate, Golden Iron Beast ultimately gained the upper hand and sent Silver Iron Beast flying. Silver Iron Beast crashed down in front of Blaze.

Silver Iron Beast had suffered serious injuries and had little combat power left, so he decided to seek help from the master he had just pledged allegiance to.

"My lord, save me! I'm no match for Golden Iron Beast. He's too powerful!" Silver Iron Beast stretched out one claw. He was speaking to Xiao Zhen inside Blaze.

Xiao Zhen looked teasingly at Silver Iron Beast on the ground. He had always despised sinister little people like Silver Iron Beast, who were consumed by jealousy.

Xiao Zhen directly controlled Blaze and walked up to him. Before anyone could react, he kicked him straight back beside Wild Star.

The crowd erupted at this revelation. So Silver Iron Beast had pledged allegiance to Tiger King long ago. No wonder betrayal came as naturally to him as eating and drinking.

"Silver Iron Beast, you damned traitor! I never thought you betrayed me long ago! So you were the one who set me up last time! Today, I, Wild Star, will destroy you and purge my ranks!" Wild Star said furiously.

Then Wild Star dragged his heavily injured body over and threw several hard punches at Silver Iron Beast lying on the ground.

Silver Iron Beast, whose injuries were even worse than Wild Star's, had almost no ability to resist. Wild Star beat him to death.

After killing Silver Iron Beast and absorbing his combat energy, Wild Star's injuries improved somewhat. He had finally caught his breath, but it was still impossible to tip the scales of battle.

"Wild Star, I'll give you one last chance. Surrender, or you and your brothers will all die today," Xiao Zhen urged sincerely.

It was likely Silver Iron Beast's betrayal, along with seeing so many of his subordinates dead and injured, that made Wild Star unwilling to keep fighting. If this battle could end with dignity, it was indeed a good outcome.

After Wild Star conceded defeat, all the Motorcycle Warriors began cheering. One of the three great War Kings had already been defeated. How far behind could the other two be?

"I announce that our next target is Tiger King's Thunder Hall!" Xiao Zhen declared loudly as he controlled Pili Huo and raised an arm high.

Upon hearing the Mecha King's declaration, the Motorcycle Clan members were filled with fighting spirit. They had just defeated one Fierce Beast Clan War King. Once they defeated the remaining two, wouldn't this world be theirs to command?

"I advise you not to go to Thunder Hall. Going there would only be a wasted trip," Wild Star said flatly.

The words felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured over everyone. Vanguard, who had a rather fiery temper, said, "Wild Star, what do you mean by that? Are you looking down on us? Even you were defeated by us. Tyrannosaurus God and Tiger King are only a matter of time."

Xiao Zhen asked solemnly, "Have you met the Mecha King of your Fierce Beast Clan? Her name is Jingjing, and she is a little girl!"

Wild Star stared carefully at Xiao Zhen and answered seriously, "You are right. I have indeed met the Mecha King of our Fierce Beast Clan. It seems you know each other."

"No, I don't know her." Xiao Zhen shook his head, then continued, "I want to know where she is now. Is she at Thunder Hall?"

"Sorry, I can't tell you that." Wild Star shook his head and spoke quietly.

After saying that, Wild Star transformed directly into a mechanical gorilla and ran toward Wild City.

Xiao Zhen stared intently at Wild Star's departing back. He sensed too many unanswered questions. Jingjing had entered this world, yet there had not been even a trace of her until now.

And since Wild Star had met Jingjing, why had he still defended Wild City to the death? Could it have been Jingjing's order? But why would she give such an order?
