Meeting of the Five God Kings

In the cold, deathly stillness of the endless universe, there was a vast, seven-colored spherical space. People generally used two words to describe this place—God Realm!

Within the God Realm drifted clouds and mist like rolling waves. These clouds were all formed from Heaven and Earth Origin Energy, and because the Heaven and Earth Origin Energy was simply too dense, it had actually formed mist visible to the naked eye.

At the very center of the God Realm, a resplendent palace towered.

This was the God Realm Committee, the highest governing organization of the God Realm. It consisted of five God King-level existences and was responsible for handling all affairs of the God Realm.

The palace was octagonal, and all around its walls, all kinds of scenes flashed ceaselessly, corresponding to the events constantly taking place on the one hundred and eight planets under the God Realm's jurisdiction.

The God Realm Committee used this method to monitor the planets under its control.

There was a round table in the palace, and at this moment, exactly five figures were seated around it.

On the left and right of the head seats sat two humanoid figures, one black and one white. These two figures were completely wrapped in black and white light, making it impossible to see their appearances at all.

Seated below the two of them were three figures, one purple, one green, and one red.

At the far left was a man draped in a purple cloak. Hidden beneath the cloak, his face could not be seen at all; only two scarlet beams shone through it. Those were the man's eyes.

In the middle was a woman wearing a pale green dress. A faint smile always rested on her face. Though her appearance could not be called stunning, she gave off a gentle, graceful feeling that made people feel especially close to her.

At the far right was a man wearing dark red armor. From beginning to end, his expression was extremely cold, giving off a sense of being utterly unapproachable.

That was right. These were the five existences in the God Realm whose strength had reached the God King level: the Evil God King, the Kindness God King, the Destruction God King, the Life God King, and the Asura God King.

At this moment, the Kindness God King swept his gaze over the four people around him and spoke first. "At our God Realm's peak, we had five God Kings, thirty-two First-Rank Main Gods, four hundred and twenty Second Rank Gods, three thousand Third Rank Gods, and countless Heavenly God Hunters and Divine Officials beneath them."

"However, the Dragon God War several hundred years ago dealt an enormous blow to our God Realm. Although no God Kings were lost, twelve First-Rank Main Gods fell, more than two hundred Second Rank Gods fell, and over a thousand Third Rank Gods fell. As for the Heavenly God Hunters and Divine Officials below them, there were even more."

At this point, the Kindness God King could not help shaking his head as he said, "Several hundred years in the God Realm, converted into the time of the lower realms, is several hundred thousand years. After such a long time, the God Realm still has not recovered its vitality."

The Evil God King also said, "If we wait for humans in the lower realms to cultivate into gods on their own, there might not even be one in ten thousand years. If this continues, who knows when the God Realm's vitality will recover, let alone develop in the direction of a Divine Star afterward."

"So the best method is to search for the origins left behind by the gods who fell in the Dragon God War and see whether there is any way to reunite their shattered God Positions."

The Kindness God King continued, "At our last meeting, we had everyone go back and mobilize the gods under them to search the lower-realm planes for the origins of fallen gods. I wonder what gains you all have made?"

The Life God King smiled faintly and said, "Then let me speak first."

"According to the Sea God's report, he sensed the divine power fluctuations of the Love God on a place in the lower realm's Douluo Star called the Sun Moon Continent."

"The Love God?"

Upon hearing this name, the Kindness God King's gaze immediately wavered.

The Love God had once been a First-Rank Main God under the Kindness God King. Unfortunately, during the Dragon God War, the Love God had been instigated by the enemy and had mistakenly believed that her lover had betrayed her. Heartbroken beyond despair, her Divine Heart had shattered, and no one knew where she had fallen. He had not expected news of her to suddenly appear now.

The Life God King nodded slightly and said, "That's right, the Love God. She fell on the Sun Moon Continent, and the place of her fall formed an area called Heaven and Earth Asking Love Valley."

A trace of a smile appeared on the Kindness God King's face as he said, "The Love God was not killed; rather, she fell because her own Divine Heart shattered. So her Divine Soul and God's Origin should be preserved relatively intact. Since she has been found, with your methods, Life, you should be able to revive her. Even if that fails, condensing her God Position again should not be a problem."

However, the Life God King looked apologetically at the Kindness God King and said, "Kindness, I'm sorry. I'm afraid matters aren't as simple as you think."

Hearing the Life God King say this, the Kindness God King could not help frowning as he asked, "Oh? What is it? Is there some trouble involved?"

The Life God King said regretfully, "After the Sea God found the place where the Love God fell, he tried to enter, but he was stopped by the Love God's power and failed."

"Afterward, the Sea God reported this matter to me, and I personally made a trip to Heaven and Earth Asking Love Valley. I did not expect to be stopped as well."

At this point, the Life God King shook his head. "I can sense that although the Love God has fallen, her remaining Divine Sense still rejects the entry of all gods, including us. I estimate that even if you went, Kindness, you would likewise be blocked."

"Of course, with our God King-level strength, we could force our way in, but if we did that, the God's Origin left behind by the Love God would also completely dissipate amid the conflict."

After the Life God King finished explaining the reason, the Kindness God King could not help sighing. "That makes things troublesome."

Just then, the Destruction God King raised his head and looked at the Kindness God King. The red light in his eyes receded somewhat as he said, "The Love God's God's Origin is, after all, preserved very intact.
