• Xu Tianran persuaded the Sun Moon Emperor to test Huo Yuhao’s loyalty, and Huo Yuhao refused the emperor’s titles and position in Mingde Hall.
• After Jing Hongchen warned Meng Hongchen that the empire had abandoned him, Huo Yuhao fled with Wang Dong’er and Huo Yun’er, but Xuan Zi and Yan Shaozhe intercepted him before Ye Xishui’s forces closed in.
• Huo Yuhao escaped into the Undead Half-Plane, cultivated for six months, reached level sixty-eight, and then went to the Body Sect with Wang Dong’er and Huo Yun’er.

The arc leaves Huo Yuhao and his companions charging into battle in the Evil Forest’s Core Region.
