Hui Yuanhong of Stars Hall snorted. "I refuse to believe it could have gotten far in so little time!"
As he spoke, vast Divine Sense spread outward, expanding across thousands of miles.
Yet the longer he searched, the more uncertain his expression grew.
"Palace Lord Hui, don't waste your strength. They vanished without a trace long ago."
Zhan Bingtao stepped onto a shattered cliff and looked down over the devastated ruins.
His eyes narrowed, and his expression gradually turned grave.

Of the five, Long Ting, the master of Longevity Hall, was the most skilled in formations. Horror crossed his face as he blurted out,
"The Kui Ox Ghost God didn't break free on its own. Someone destroyed the seals here, allowing it to escape the suppression left by the Sword Lord!"
Everyone's expression changed at once.
Zhan Bingtao nodded slightly. "Junior Brother Long Ting is right. The Kui Ox Ghost God did receive outside help."
"Then who could it have been?" asked the only woman among them, her melodious voice carrying her bewilderment.
