In the deep universe, devoid of light and color, endless dust drifted.
These particles of dust came in all shapes and sizes.
The smallest were too tiny to see, while the largest resembled continents. No living aura existed upon them; they simply drifted through the universe in deathly silence, wandering alone as they quietly awaited the erosion of time.
Yet it was not always so tranquil.
Occasionally, the fortunate ones would pass near stars and be drawn in by their powerful gravity, finally landing and returning to their roots—dust to dust, earth to earth.
Amid this endless dust, a thousand-zhang giant drifted silently.
Its deathly stillness was no different from that of the other dust, but beyond that, a faint blue-white blaze spread over its body like the veins of branches, sheltering it.
The flame was exceedingly dim, as though merely covering the giant had already exhausted all its strength, leaving it unable to do anything else.
Suddenly!
The blue-white blaze seemed to sense something and began trembling violently.
At an immeasurably distant place, a flash of light vanished in an instant.
Close on its heels came wave after wave of inexplicable force, surging forth like tides.
Wherever they passed, dust was swept into them without the slightest power to resist.
Fragments of planets, rocky mineral lands, and other debris mingled within, colliding endlessly. The fragile ones were crushed into powder one after another.
The giant was among them as well.
Its body was indestructible; anything that approached it was destroyed.
But the cosmic tide surged for far too long. Amid the ceaseless collisions, even the giant's unconscious body gradually became battered and broken.
By the end, the blue-white flames covering its body could only protect a few vital areas.
In this drifting journey through the universe, time no longer
