Wind Thunder Gorge!
A perilous region of the Southern Border since ancient times.
The Earth Veins here were chaotic, and large amounts of turbid earth qi constantly leaked out amid their merging and clashing, forming biting Adamantine Winds that swept through the long, narrow gorge and flayed the bones.
Because those Adamantine Winds were formed from turbid earth qi, they possessed tremendous destructive power against cultivators' protective qi barriers. They were like blades, and any cultivator who was careless could be torn to shreds inside them. Thus, they were also known as Blade Wind.
Above, as the earth qi rose and rubbed against the void, a field of lightning was constantly accumulating.
It was precisely because of the year-round Blade Wind and lightning fields that this place had earned the name Wind Thunder Gorge.
Ordinary people would never come here to cultivate.
Until several hundred years ago, when a cultivator fleeing pursuit escaped here and took up residence, gradually uncovering the mysteries of this place.
Whether it was the Blade Wind or the falling lightning, they only existed in the open spaces of the gorge.
As long as one did not rashly fly through them, but instead climbed along the perilous mountain walls on either side of the gorge, the risk of being struck could be greatly reduced.
As time passed.
More and more cultivators with nowhere else to go gathered here.
They carved out caves in the mountain walls on both sides of the gorge and used them as places of cultivation.
Later, countless wandering cultivators even came here after hearing of the place, solely for its free, scattered Spirit Veins.
Anyone who had carved out a cave could be called a cave master.
The thirty-six strongest among them were even known throughout the outside world as the Thirty-Six
