Time flew by. In the blink of an eye, five days had passed. Over those five days, much of the aftermath from the civil war had been dealt with, and Yao Ming finally emerged from the silent stone chamber.
"Congratulations on leaving seclusion, Clan Leader." Outside the stone hall, Elder Liu and the others bowed respectfully to Yao Ming.
"Mm." Yao Ming nodded, a faint smile appearing on his face. "Thank you all for your hard work these past few days."
"We would not dare claim such credit! As long as the Clan Leader recovers, it is the greatest blessing for our Nine Netherworld Underworld Python Clan," Elder Liu said.
"Enough of that. How has the investigation into Brother Xiao Heng gone?" Yao Ming asked. During his days in seclusion, he had instructed Elder Liu and the others not only to clean up the aftermath, but also to carry out another task.
A few days might not have been enough to investigate an unknown individual, but Xiao Heng's reputation was more than sufficient. After all, the title Sword Saint had not been earned for nothing.
Hearing this, Elder Ming stepped forward and recounted all the information they had gathered about Xiao Heng over the past few days.
When he finished, Yao Ming fell into thought.
"Sword Saint, Eighth-grade Alchemist, Starfall Pavilion, Heavenly Mansion Alliance..." Yao Ming murmured. Then he suddenly smiled. "My Brother Xiao Heng is quite formidable. At such a young age, he already possesses so many titles. And judging from his strength, he is far from as simple as those reports make him out to be."
"Clan Leader..." Elder Liu began at the side. "Regarding that Sword Saint, should we...?"
Before he could finish, Yao Ming understood what he meant and raised a hand to cut him off.
