Xiao Heng cautiously walked forward. After passing through the ancient forest, he arrived at the center of this space. Unlike the Nine Netherworld Underworld Python Clan, the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan's burial ground was not divided into so many levels. It was a plain-like expanse covered in bones. The farther inward one went, the larger the skeletons became, and the higher the grade of the Magic Cores upon them.
After advancing several dozen zhang, enormous altars appeared before Xiao Heng. Resting atop those altars were coffins made of parasol wood.
Xiao Heng flew onto one of the altars and looked at the parasol-wood coffin. With a slight movement of his finger, the lid opened on its own. As the coffin opened, a skeleton came into Xiao Heng's view. Though humanoid in shape, it was still a Heaven Demon Phoenix.
Xiao Heng took a glance. Although the skeleton remained, all the energy within it had long since drained away, and even its Magic Core had completely vanished.
