An hour was not long, but it was enough for everyone to rest a little, eat something, and drink some water.

It was already noon, the hottest part of the day. After watching matches all morning, the crowd was getting hungry. Quite a few people began doing business at this time, though most did not wander around. Instead, they took out the food and drink they had prepared beforehand, ate where they sat, and waited for the finals to begin.

Xiao Heng had not prepared anything, but Lin Xiao Yi had. Like a dutiful little wife, the girl took item after item from her Storage Ring and handed them to Xiao Heng.

The people beside them were green with envy, including Bai Feng and Bai Yi Fan. Bai Yi Fan was fine; his expression did not change, making his mood impossible to read. Bai Feng, however, was full of envy. "Brother Heng, you really are lucky!"

Xiao Heng glanced at him and saw his fixed stare. He then picked up a pastry, put it into his mouth, savored it carefully, and nodded. "It really is good."

After a long while, Bai Feng looked at Xiao Heng with resentment. That was not why he had started the conversation.

Still, Xiao Heng was not that stingy. In the end, he took out some fruit and shared it with them, and they happily accepted.
