Hadn't I just been at the company, getting ready to go out with the boss? How had a tap on the shoulder landed me here in the blink of an eye?

"Boss, you..." Jessica Jones abruptly turned to Su Quan beside her.

Su Quan looked as composed as ever. With an expression of disdain that said she was making a fuss over nothing, he pointed at the door. "You're not the only special one. Go knock."

Jessica Jones suppressed her shock and curiosity and stepped forward to knock on the door.

Bang bang bang—

The door opened, revealing a Black boy.

Su Quan said, "We're here to see Isaiah."

"There's no one named Isaiah here." The Black boy spoke and prepared to close the door.

"Jessica," Su Quan called out.

Jessica Jones applied a little force and held the door open.

"Elijah Eli Bradley, lying isn't a quality you should have." Su Quan glanced at the wary Black boy as he backed away, then leisurely walked inside.

In the living room, an old Black man with white hair stared sharply at the uninvited intruders.

"You're not welcome here. Please leave!"

"Isaiah Bradley—"

Su Quan looked around before casually sitting down on the sofa. "There's no need to make things so tense. I know who you are, and I know what you've been through, so you don't need to worry. I only came to have you fight her a few times."

"What?! You want me to fight him?"

Jessica Jones's eyes widened. "He's that old. I-I'm not fighting him!"
