"That's not a thing—that's a person!"
"He's the sniper who just fired. He... he actually found him, found him in the blink of an eye. This is terrifying, absolutely terrifying."
"I'm out. I'm done."
Emerging from thunder, crackling with lightning and energy, able to fly, moving at blinding speed, bullets dropping before they even touch him—
Is this even human?!
It's not that we're not trying—it's that the enemy has a goddamn mech!
I'm done. I'm out. I want to go home to my mom.
The faint-hearted felt fear creeping in and quietly slipped away.
Su Quan looked down at the sniper with the snapped neck, then casually tossed him toward the Hydra squad.
The Hydra squad didn't spare him a glance. Their eyes were locked on Su Quan without blinking.
Clearly, the sniper was dead. Why waste energy on a corpse when the one who made him a corpse was standing right in front of them?
The Hydra squad leader stared at Su Quan, his eyes filled with wariness and fear, but he showed no sign of backing down.
"All units, open fire at will!"
He shouted in his mind, raised his gun, aimed at Su Quan, and pulled the trigger.
"Rat-tat-tat—rat-tat-tat—rat-tat-tat—"
Blazing tongues of fire poured out, bullets spraying like they cost nothing.
Choking, acrid gun smoke drifted on the wind, and everyone else on the scene stood frozen in shock.
Bullets piled up like a mountain, landing in a perfectly neat line, as if an invisible wall separated them from Su Quan.
"Are they always this brave?"
The clever faction leader nudged the underling beside him, unable to comprehend why this squad would provoke such an inhuman monster.
"You few, take some men and circle around quietly. Board the ship."
"Yes."
A few bold types slipped back, ready to take a detour and approach the cargo ship from another angle.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
Several gunshots rang out. The men trying to circle around were precisely picked off by the Winter Soldiers on the cargo ship, dropping on the spot.
"Damn it, I forgot about them. Return fire! Return fire!"
"Charge! Move it!"
The clever faction leader hopped in frustration, shoving his men forward while smartly sprinting toward a nearby container that hadn't been loaded yet, planning to hide and lie low for a while.
"Click-click-click—"
The Hydra squad's ammunition ran dry.
"Now, it's my turn!"
Su Quan's eyes blazed like molten lava. Scorching red rays howled forth, instantly piercing the Hydra squad leader's chest.
"Thud!"
The lifeless Hydra squad leader dropped to his knees and collapsed flat.
"Split up! We have to get word of him back."
"Run!"
The Hydra squad scattered in all directions, sprinting for their lives without looking back.
To Hydra, a mysterious powerhouse with supernatural abilities was far more valuable than the Rand Corporation or the agents they'd sacrificed.
"Zzzzzt—"
The crimson rays cut through everything in Su Quan's sight like blades of death from the depths of hell, tearing apart a full 180 degrees.
Whether it was the Hydra squad or the armed forces the Hand had tricked into coming, almost everyone fell silent.
Or rather, they fell silent forever.
"Clang!"
A container split in half. The top half, nudged by a gentle sea breeze, toppled and crashed to the ground.
On the other side of the container.
The clever faction leader clutched his bald, steaming head, staring blankly at the scene before him—corpses strewn everywhere, a demon-god reigning supreme.
He was completely dumbfounded.
Who am I?
Where am I?
What am I supposed to do?
"Ahhh!"
The clever faction leader let out a bloodcurdling scream, then bolted madly toward the sea, plunging in with a splash.
"Splash—splash—" His arms flailed wildly, legs kicking chaotically.
To be fair, he swam pretty fast.
Su Quan withdrew his Heat Vision, turning his back to the cargo ship as he flicked his fingers lightly.
In an instant, several shipping containers on the Rand Corporation's vessel rose steadily into the air, gliding smoothly yet swiftly from the ship to an open spot on the dock.
Crack!
The locks on the containers snapped.
The doors swung open in unison, pushed by an invisible force.
Under the glow of the lights, the containers were packed with huddled, terrified figures.
Men and women, old and young.
Outside, bodies littered the ground, and only one man stood alone, watching them. The door to freedom was wide open, yet no one dared take the first step.
Several containers held at least a few hundred people.
None were bound by shackles or ropes.
None had their mouths gagged.
Yet not a single person made a sound, not a single one stepped out.
Su Quan felt a flicker of disinterest. It was because of these people that he hadn't shown mercy to the Hydra squad and the others.
He'd thought he might pick a few from this lot to give to White Queen and Dotty.
Maybe find some homeless, helpless souls to send to the Void for scavenging or construction.
Clean, innocent people were better than Hydra agents and outlaws. But now—
He looked into the distance. Dotty Underwood and White Queen were approaching from afar.
From their calm expressions, they already knew what had happened here.
"They're yours now," Su Quan said.
He didn't ask if their mission had gone smoothly. At the laundry factory, with their skills, no matter what went wrong, the outcome would've been the same.
"Wait, please wait!"
Just as Su Quan was about to head back to the cargo ship to deal with the Meachum siblings, a woman stumbled out of one of the containers.
"My name is Maki Matsumoto. Thank you so much for saving me. May I follow you?"
Su Quan glanced at her, then suddenly grinned. He hadn't expected a big fish to be hiding among all these minnows.
Maki Matsumoto—
Wasn't that Lady Bullseye!
PS: About updates, I really have no backlog. I write one chapter and post one. This is probably the first time I've gone live with not even two or three chapters saved up.
First day live, minimum five chapters, no upper limit, but since I have no backlog, I can only write and post as I go, doing my best.
PS: Check out my other works: "Marvel: King's Arrival," "The Vampire: Strongest Reaper," "Marvel: Door-Door Fruit," "American Comics: Strongest Villain," "KO List: Strongest War God," "I Have a Dimensional Street in Marvel," "In American Dramas: Get Stronger by Spending Money!"
Maki Matsumoto—just from the name, you can tell she's from that little island nation of Japan.
In the comics, she gets kidnapped by the yakuza and happens to witness Bullseye on a mission. His ruthless killing methods strike a chord deep inside her.
