North of Heavenly Mountain, it was the norm for Nascent Soul forces to rule an entire cultivation world. Only a small portion of cultivation worlds were jointly governed by multiple Golden Core forces.
But the Great Zhou Cultivation World was another exception among them. Its territory was nearly twice the size of the Dagan Cultivation World, and it was divided between two great Nascent Soul–level forces, one ruling the east and the other the west.
One of them was the Great Zhou Qu Clan that Yi Tianzheng had mentioned. It, too, was an ancient clan with deep foundations, several thousand years older than Myriad Manifestations Palace.
The Qu Clan's progenitor was said to be the blood descendant of an ancient great clan. After the Great Zhou Immortal Dynasty's realm collapsed, he, with his Golden Core cultivation, rose with the tide amid the chaos of the age, conquered one-fifth of the Great Zhou Cultivation World's territory, and established the Qu Clan.
Later, after several thousand years of separatist warfare and chaotic fighting, the Qu Clan gradually came to control nearly half of Great Zhou's land, forming a Three-Way Stalemate with the other two major forces.
Ten thousand years later, the Qu Clan produced its first Nascent Soul True Lord, and its strength soared. It destroyed the other two Golden Core forces and took all of Great Zhou's territory for itself.
After the era of the Immortal Dynasty, scripts like this were everywhere. Most of the forces of the present age basically had only tens of thousands of years of inheritance. Those that exceeded a hundred thousand years had at least undergone the baptism of one great calamity and had already been very active during the Immortal Dynasty era.
