Under the watchful gaze of two enormous earth-yellow rock constructs standing a full five meters tall, Lu Yuan and his group entered through the gates.
Looking at the earth-yellow buildings within the city, Zhuo Ming let out a breath and smiled.
"We're finally back. I was on edge the whole way."
The blond young man nodded and said, "I didn't expect so many people to be targeting the Gene Warriors who came out of the trial."
"Of course. Everyone knows the ruins hold a huge number of treasures. Which warrior who passes a ruin trial doesn't come away with plenty of gains? Kill them, and you can take those gains for yourself. Naturally, people are willing to make a move, especially Hunters."
The others nodded in deep agreement.
"Good thing there were so many of us, and Mr. Liu was with us. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have made it out of the underground palace so easily."
Green said with a smile.
Liu Xi smiled as well. "In the Sandstone City region, I, Liu Xi, still have some influence."
He turned to Lu Yuan. "Brother Lu Yuan, now that we're in the city, I need to return to the Tianfu Conglomerate's base to handle some matters, so I can't accompany you any longer. If you need anything, you can come to our base. Our base is at Residential Area A042. You'll find it easily once you get to the residential district."
Lu Yuan smiled and nodded. "All right, I will."
Liu Xi left with his team.
Watching Liu Xi's departing back, Zhuo Ming clicked his tongue twice, his face full of envy.
"An A-Grade Residential Area... As expected of the Tianfu Conglomerate. They're doing incredibly well in Sandstone City. They're filthy rich."
