After a brief rest, the priestess took out medicinal powder and bandages to treat Luke's wounds. She reunited with Mel and the others along the path. The party's archer had abandoned them and fled.

The atmosphere seemed to have turned strange. They had clearly survived a disaster, yet Ravi and Luke still felt miserable. Nana said nothing, merely smiling as usual while picking up her staff.

"Don't bother with him. Milka's just a coward." Supported by Ravi, the knight struggled to his feet.

Mel did not say much. True, how could everyone possibly be both brave and rational? In that situation, there was nothing wrong with prioritizing one's own life, was there?
