Back at the Hess City Estate

Mel looked at the blood-red stain spreading across the distant land and did not dare linger any longer. If the Blood Demon caught up again, things would become troublesome.

"Mel, did something happen?"

"Nothing. I ran into two Apostles, but they started fighting each other. We need to leave."

They quickly stepped into the teleportation array prepared in advance, and the three of them vanished from the southern defense line of the Kingdom of Kren.

That Rhino Man seemed to have already locked onto him. However, with such a massive body, crossing the sea to find him would not be easy. At the very least, it would need a large seafaring vessel capable of long voyages.

The Western Continent and the Central Continent were separated by a strait. A Rhino Man with such a huge body, density, and mass could not easily cross the ocean.

The three of them returned once again to the Bernardo Family estate.

The region lay extremely close to the south, and it was summer. The heat made even the earth seem to warp.

"Mel, you're back." Mr. Freli was the first to spot them. "Claire, dad missed you so much."

"Stop being so mushy, Father." Claire rolled her eyes helplessly.

Mr. Freli could only sigh in resignation. He really could not keep her anymore. Still, a man as outstanding as Mel was indeed hard to find. He was a very reliable fellow.

"By the way, Meyeg is back. She's currently conducting teleportation magic experiments with Pandram Mage and Dr. Milo. It seems they're close to succeeding. Do you want to take a look?"

"Where?" Mel was instantly interested. As long as they could build a permanent teleportation array, traveling to the Land of Curses or even reaching hell would become much easier in the future.
