But to be safe, the guard still went inside to announce their arrival.

At that moment, Claire was keeping Liberia company. Liberia's condition had worsened drastically lately, and her mental state had become extremely unstable. Yet she did not understand what had happened.

"You mean someone outside is looking for a guy named Mel?" Claire looked at the guard in confusion. She had no impression of that name.

Under those circumstances, Claire keenly sensed that there had to be some connection. If Liberia's mental state continued deteriorating like this, she might go mad.

There was no reason for this at all. Her master, Kiriri, was clearly still here.

After the guard left, Liberia gently tugged on Claire's sleeve. "Claire..."

"What is it?"
