Now, aside from fighting over territory, only Hell remained before him.
After teleportation magic had matured, returning to Hell through teleportation was difficult, but it was no longer the primary issue.
The question was whether Hell had changed after flesh and blood had appeared there again.
Should he bring Clili and the others with him to Hell?
These geniuses had shown great interest in Hell lately, but Mel had no way to guarantee its absolute safety. The Blood-Soaked Demon God's attitude was also extremely ambiguous.
The war had temporarily entered a stable phase. The north and south had yet to connect, but they were only one final stretch apart.
"You're preparing to return to Hell?" Clili looked at Mel, a trace of gravity in her eyes.
"Yes. Direct teleportation might not get me back. I'll first teleport to the Land of Curses, then from there to the Underworld. Perhaps that will let me return to Hell again." Mel laid out his plan. It was not especially ingenious, but compared to the previously unknown teleportation destination, it was already remarkably reliable.
When he had teleported out of Hell, he had mainly relied on curse resonance and the magic once left behind on the floating island, so the teleportation deviation had been enormous.
Teleporting to the Land of Curses was certainly no coincidence. The Land of Curses had to be connected to the Underworld somehow; it possessed the aura of death found only in the Underworld.
"Do you need us to come with you? I happen to be rather interested in Hell as well," Archmage Guvis suggested.
"No. I can't say much about the rest, but there
