Mel stood on the surface of the sea, sensing the hero's location within the metal cube. The Holy Sword had already approached that door, yet there was still no reaction.
It seemed the hero needed to insert it into the keyhole himself.
As the key to opening the door, Mel felt that things would not be so simple. There might be other measures hidden beyond the door, which was why those gods did not care about it.
He used Teleportation Magic to leave again. This place was far from human habitation, so no one should come and provoke the hero. Still, Mel teleported some supplies near him. He bore no grudge against Yax. If Yax regained his senses, he should be able to survive on the supplies Mel had left behind.
On this vast sea, someone who did not know Flight Magic had no way of escaping.
"Forget it. I should move him to the top of the metal cube. If he stays inside, he might get crushed into a pulp." Mel used Teleportation Magic to approach once more, then quickly teleported the hero onto the top of the metal cube.
Because of the Demon King's Blood, whenever Mel approached, the hero controlled by the Holy Sword would attack him instinctively.
However, the other party was still weaker than Mel and could not pose any threat to him.
After pulling back, Mel checked the magical mark on the hero again, then used Teleportation Magic to return to Exar.
He had done everything he could. The war could not be launched, industrial progress was bottlenecked by population, and those gods were strangely quiet—especially after he had stood directly before those apostles.
While Mel entered a period of stagnation, the
