"Naruto-kun!"
Hinata immediately called out sweetly. She even set aside her training and ran over, stopping in front of Naruto with a shy expression.
Naruto looked at the girl who only came up to his chest. She wore a tight training outfit, her delicate figure clearly outlined. Girls her age were already beginning to mature. Looking at Hinata, Naruto said,
"Hey, Hinata, just seeing you makes me feel better." Naruto smiled.
"Ah, thank you for the compliment, Naruto-kun." The girl lowered her head shyly. At her age, she could no longer see her toes when she looked down. Her view was blocked somewhere below her neck by an inexplicable obstacle.
Naruto found it amusing as he watched Hinata lower her head. He had known this Hinata for five years, yet she was still just as adorable, getting shy at the slightest thing.
Naruto glanced at Hinata's obstacle, then reluctantly pulled his gaze away. He swallowed and said,
"Hinata, let's take a walk together!"
The two walked side by side along the pebble path. The road was paved with smooth stones, with grass and flower beds on both sides. Flowers were already in bloom, and walking over the stones felt like getting a massage underfoot while the fragrance of flowers filled their noses.
He seemed to relax completely.
"Naruto-kun, did something upset you?"
Hinata was incredibly perceptive. From Naruto's earlier words, "Just seeing you makes me feel better," she had thoroughly analyzed the meaning and guessed that Naruto had something on his mind.
Naruto did not stop walking after hearing her question. He continued strolling and said, "Hinata, can I ask you something?"
"Of course, Naruto-kun," Hinata readily replied.
When it came to Naruto, even if he did something to her, she probably... would not refuse him...
