"Come on, tomorrow's the weekend, Rimuru."
At noon, Rimuru was standing on the school rooftop, gazing into the distance, when the door behind him suddenly swung open. Rin came jogging in with her hands behind her back, saying excitedly, "Let's go on a date~? A date! A date~"
"..." Rimuru was slightly taken aback. After giving Rin a suspicious look, he quickly chuckled, having seen through her nature. "Rin, you really can say anything without hesitation, can't you? I bet Shirou Emiya gets flustered whenever you say things like that to him, right?"
"Huh? You knew?!" Seeing Rimuru effortlessly see through her prank, Rin's face fell. She said unhappily, "Well, I figured you'd react like this... but it's still no fun."
Rimuru merely raised his eyelids slightly without saying anything. He couldn't exactly say that Sylphiel had already gotten him used to much more outrageous teasing, could he?
"But is teasing boys really that fun?" Rimuru turned around helplessly. "Even if I get flustered or embarrassed, so what?"
"At least it's better than constantly suppressing your true nature!" Rin walked over to Rimuru without caring in the slightest, took out her lunch sandwich, and bit into it. "And it isn't teasing!"
"It really is a date, a date!"
"Sigh." Rimuru sighed and said seriously, "I've never heard of a date involving four people... No, Sylphiel might insist on coming too. In that case, it would be a date with five people, wouldn't it?"
"And Rin, even though Assassin and Rider have already been eliminated, out of the seven Master groups, there are still three left besides Saber, right? Even if you want to have a little fun before giving it your all, wouldn't it be better to wait until only one group remains?"
"What does it matter? You're right, but..."
