They surged forward in a vast procession, orderly yet scattered. They were orderly because their steps and direction were uniform. They seemed well-organized as they drifted unpredictably around one tourist after another.
They were scattered because they had no formation or uniform clothing. As they hurried along, they formed little groups here and there, chatting among themselves.
Yet overall, they all wore various styles of black trench coats, uniforms, and even suits.
A black torrent of three to four hundred people swept through the Vatican, pressing toward the famous central headquarters of the Catholic Church.
Whether supernatural beings or ordinary people, everyone had a common name for that place—the Church.
Within the black torrent, the tourists being swallowed up from time to time had varied reactions. Some looked shocked, some were utterly panicked, while others excitedly tried to stop a few black-clad figures and ask, "Hey, buddy, are you guys cosplaying?!"
