Jiang Rui and Ling Ling fought through the Holy Grail War, defeated their enemies, and saw the Grail escape before Jiang Rui could claim the Third Magic. After advancing in R’lyeh, Jiang Rui traveled to London and faced the Clock Tower over the Fuyuki disaster and his magical research.

• Jiang Rui revealed that Kiritsugu Emiya had hidden Artoria’s scabbard inside Irisviel, while Aoko, Eler, and Alice Kuonji prepared for the conflict around Fuyuki.
• Irisviel’s body became the Holy Grail, and Jiang Rui unleashed Excalibur as Gilgamesh destroyed Rider’s Reality Marble and turned against Artoria.
• Jiang Rui used his Command Seals to send Karna against Gilgamesh, and Karna killed Gilgamesh before fatally stabbing Artoria.
• Ling Ling defeated Yuki Onna and fought Olyric, Snow Woman, and Alice Kuonji as Jiang Rui and his allies confronted the attackers who had petrified the battlefield.

After leaving New York’s contaminated battlefield, he returned to his shop and discovered that Nightmares were probing sleeping residents across the city, while the Iron Throne summoned him with an official reward.

• Jiang Rui challenged Meyashtia for the Mineralogy Department, secured support for the Modern Magecraft Department, and backed the Clock Tower’s decision to eradicate the Magic Crestless.
• Jiang Rui pressed Waver to accept responsibility for Kenneth’s Magic Crest, took control of Modern Magecraft Urban Studies, and returned to the void after completing his mission and claiming its rewards.
• Jiang Rui met Alaya, chose Mind as his power seed, and returned to R'lyeh, where he explored the city and learned about the Void Arena.
• Jiang Rui began climbing the Void Arena rankings while Ye Xiaoqian fought her way to rank 42, and Olyric told them that the Truth Society’s Hunter had stolen S-023.
• Jiang Rui and Ye Xiaoqian dueled in a Doomsday City arena, where Jiang Rui outmaneuvered her assassination attempt and rose to rank 1799 after she conceded.
• Jiang Rui, Ye Xiaoqian, and Olyric returned to New York’s contaminated battlefield, where Ye Xiaoqian departed with her relatives and Olyric reunited with his family.
• Jiang Rui returned to his shop disguised as Brent and found gray mist inside Anna and other sleeping New Yorkers, suggesting that Nightmares were searching people’s dreams.
• An Iron Throne representative thanked Jiang Rui for saving Night Watch personnel and gave him an envelope containing his reward and documents establishing Brent’s civilian identity.

Jiang Rui hid the hunted True Ancestor Lilith, gained her blood and learned about the pursuit surrounding her. While navigating New York’s supernatural factions, he discovered his connection to Sprout, recruited Dixi, and left Lilith seeking a way back to London.

• Jiang Rui concealed the weakened Lilith from the Night Watch, learned her identity and accepted a drop of her essence blood in exchange for coffee and information.
• Jiang Rui absorbed Sequence 8 Vampire, which mutated into Blood Moon Shadow, while Lilith explained that Nightmare and other forces were pursuing her group.
• Emily investigated the murders and sought information about the witch, while Jiang Rui was interrogated by the Iron Throne and received a Night Watch license.
• Jiang Rui returned to his shop, where Emily used him as bait in her search for an item, and he later went with Dixi to Fane’s supernatural market and tavern.

Jiang Rui survived the disaster in New York, killed the Vampire Slayer, and became tied to Emily’s Night Watch as governments fought over how to handle the extraordinary world. After Anna’s proposed act advanced and Jiang Rui returned to Xia Country, Great Sage sent him into a new world with a dangerous survival mission.

• Jiang Rui entered Fallen Heaven, where Phyllis explained her love for Emily and the danger of being drawn along a path woven by someone with authority over fate.
• The Truth Society’s ritual unleashed a Black Goat entity and mutations across New York, while Jiang Rui and Night Watch forces fought to protect civilians.
• The golden-eyed girl destroyed the entity at the state border, and Jiang Rui faced the Vampire Slayer as the Blood Moon descended over New York.
• Jiang Rui defeated the Vampire Slayer with the Blood Moon and Holy Flame, then Emily used a Night Watch document to shield him from Director Molly and recruited him.
