Rimuru conquered the shinobi world, revived the Ten Tails, and defeated Kaguya Ōtsutsuki before Team Sprout earned a Beyond-Grade rank. After preparing for their next advancement and gaining powerful connections, Rimuru and his companions arrived in Switzerland to contest Holmes’s legacy.

• Rimuru rejected the opposing captain’s mission and attacked his team, then persuaded him that his squad could still earn a Beyond-Grade rating and secured the Land of Fire’s support.
• Rimuru invaded Iwagakure, summoned Ito Rei and Madara Uchiha, and ordered the village destroyed after Ōnoki’s forces fought back.
• Rimuru revived Ōnoki and released him at Ito Rei’s plea, then prepared to confront the Allied Shinobi Forces as Konoha joined the war.
• Rimuru killed the Raikage, devoured the Kazekage, and used the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to bind the Tailed Beasts and revive the Ten Tails.
• Rimuru explained the God Tree’s origins, made Fugaku Uchiha its vessel, and fought Kaguya Ōtsutsuki after she emerged and attacked him.

The Light Chasers overcame Dragon King Spark’s projection, then gathered with rival factions at Reichenbach Falls as a divine fragment opened a world modeled on Holmes’s mysteries. Inside it, the scattered teams evaded Hunters, investigated a murder, and began to suspect Rimuru was connected to one of the seven puzzle pieces.

• Kaguya invited Rimuru to join Nine Abyss, but Lin rebuffed her, and the Light Chasers crossed the border to find Dragon King Hanabi guarding Reichenbach Falls for Lilith and the Esoteric Alliance.
• Rimuru helped Ling Ling and the others confront Spark’s projection, then swallowed it, taking part of Spark’s origin and ending the blockade.
• Spark confronted Rimuru at the falls, while Kaguya and her team joined the Light Chasers and rival factions gathered around the waterfall’s seven puzzle pieces.
• Anna triggered the mechanism beneath the waterfall, opening a residual divine domain that separated the teams and transported Rimuru into Holmes’s futuristic world.
• Lilith and Anna searched for their companions as Ye Xiaoqian, Yutong, Ling Ling, Ye Fan, and Kaguya navigated the city, evaded Hunters, and converged on Moriarty’s base with Rimuru’s help.
• Rimuru analyzed a murder scene and discovered that the victim’s data remained traceable, while Lilith concluded that multiple murderers had fought there.
• Yutong reported that her surveillance devices had captured Holmes before being destroyed, and Ye Xiaoqian urged Yuki Onna to take Moriarty’s role and investigate.

Rimuru destroyed Arsenal Nation, gained Lina’s trust, and joined forces with Sylphiel after she revealed her identity as Satan’s scythe. He then helped Lilith confront the Blood of Madness, whose fusion began mutating the area as the factions debated whether to stop her.

• Lilith killed the One-Eyed Bishop, while Rimuru stopped the Church members from leaving the crime scene and Arsenal Nation’s forces attacked Raphael and the others.
• Rimuru fought the Mech Warrior as Lina joined his side, then devoured Arsenal Nation and its Mechanical Angel.
• Rimuru spared the defeated Mech Warrior and treated Lina, while Ruksinth and Oakes entered his dream to confront him and Sylphiel.
• Sylphiel revealed that she was Satan’s offspring and the Demon Scythe, then declared her allegiance to Rimuru and Hell’s alliance with him.
• Rimuru and his allies traced the power fragment to the Hunters’ headquarters, where Lilith confronted the Blood of Madness and the clash brought down the building.
• Ling Ling’s group fought through the city’s police and NPC forces to reach Rimuru, who joined Lilith’s battle with the Blood of Madness.
• Lilith seized control of the Blood of Madness as the Truth Society arrived, and the giant eye in the Blood Moon triggered a mutation around the Scarlet Castle.
• Raphael and the others urged caution, but Rimuru refused to interfere with Lilith’s attempt to suppress the mutation and questioned the claim that she had no chance of success.

Rimuru saved Lilith from her collapsing inner world, joined her Hidden Alliance, and was drawn into Alaya’s mission in the Type-Moon World. There, he became Rin Tohsaka’s Servant, encountered the emerging Holy Grail War, and fought Heracles while drawing Red Fox’s attention.

• Sylphiel revealed that she was Asmodeus’s heir and identified Rimuru as The Truth Society’s Holy Son as Lilith’s aberration threatened everyone around them.
• Rimuru entered Lilith’s sea of consciousness, pulled her back from collapse, and helped her absorb her world and its aberration into her Blood Moon Pendant.
• Lilith made a Blood Bond of Shared Life with Rimuru, then proposed that he represent her in the Hidden Alliance with authority equal to its leader.
• Alaya sent Rimuru to the Type-Moon World to replace Archer and kill Shirou Emiya, where Rin Tohsaka recognized him as her Servant.
• Rimuru and Rin weakened Shinji Matou’s Soul-Eating Barrier, and Rimuru fought Cú Chulainn until Lancer’s Master recalled him with a Command Seal.
• Rimuru met Shirou Emiya, Saber, and Lord Animusphere, then told Rin that he had killed Saber in the previous Holy Grail War.
• Rimuru used Avalon to shield Saber from Heracles, then battered the Berserker with Magic Cannons and restrained him with Enkidu as he pursued Illyasviel.
