After Project Insight was exposed, the Power Stone was stolen, and Rimuru set aside the pursuit to focus on Black Cat Desi, who had brought Wanda and Pietro to New York. When the Light Chasers and Dream Garden learned of the pair, both factions chose to wait and watch rather than approach Desi.
