After Phoenix’s defeat, the Shadow Sovereign gave the Transcendents three days to plunder R'lyeh and warned Rimuru to prioritize personal strength over alliances. The Unifier explained how the defeat could weaken Phoenix’s hold over his legion, and the Shadow Church agreed to announce a pursuit of the Phoenix Legion.

• The Shadow Sovereign delayed the Transcendents’ return for three days so they could gather rewards in R'lyeh.
• The Shadow Sovereign acknowledged Rimuru as a likely future collaborator, cautioned him against relying too much on alliances, and said the Shadow Church would accept a contract to hunt the Phoenix Legion.
• The Unifier explained that Phoenix’s defeat could deepen differences within the family-like Phoenix Legion and keep Phoenix occupied while Rimuru grew stronger.

Rimuru returned to R'lyeh after Amishir awakened, and rumors spread across the Void as the Phoenix Legion mysteriously vanished. While investigating his new demigod powers, Rimuru recognized that his inherited authority was called Truth and felt as though it had returned to him.

• Luo repaid her debt to Rimuru by handing the world over to him, then withdrew with the Amishir officers and hoped their factions could remain aligned.
• Rimuru became famous throughout the Void after Amishir, R'lyeh, and the Shadow Church declared war on the Phoenix Legion, which disappeared without a trace.
• Nine Tails asked Rimuru whether he knew what had happened to Phoenix, and they considered using his one-month Void Contract to determine whether Phoenix had died.
• Rimuru discovered that Glutton had become the demigod-level skill Gluttony King and wondered whether his power came from his own essence or R'lyeh's former master.

Mu Feng Changge visited Rimuru with an arrow made from Phoenix and explained the test, the power Rimuru inherited, and the legend of Sequence 0 at the end of the Void. Rimuru decided to pursue that realm and, two months later, used The Truth Society to confront Ser at a rebel base and assert his authority in the real world.
