Chapter Summaries

After acquiring the Heroic Spirit sequence, Jiang Rui reached fifteen points in every attribute and chose specializations, including the rare Mana Tide and the mysterious Nature Affinity. He discovered that he could advance his Monster Lord sequence to Sequence 7 and gained Archer’s Projection Magic, including Unlimited Blade Works, but had yet to test his new Reality Marble.

• Jiang Rui chose Haste for Agility, Power Strike for Strength, and Life Amplification for Constitution.
• Jiang Rui selected the rare Mana Tide specialization for Spirit, greatly improving his magic recovery.
• Jiang Rui chose Nature Affinity for Charisma, then confirmed that it had increased without changing his Charisma.
• Jiang Rui checked his panel and learned that all his attributes met the requirements to advance to Sequence 7, with excess attributes stored as potential.

• Jiang Rui told Lucy and Ye Xiaoqian that he had promised Alaya to save the world, but admitted that fear of dying if the mission failed was his real reason for sacrificing people to become a Demon King.
• Ye Xiaoqian supported Jiang Rui, and Lucy agreed to follow her brother’s decision.

• Jiang Rui arrived amid a strengthened blizzard and confronted Gilgamesh, Ling Ling, and Ghost Face while ordering Ye Xiaoqian and Lucy to retreat.

As Diarmuid and the Great Emperor closed in, Ser and Big Baby activated an angel-shaped mech for the little girl, ending the chapter with a blinding explosion.
