Background / History

Fang Qingxue is the eldest daughter of the Fang Family and the reincarnation of the Lightning Mother Heavenly Monarch. Even before joining the Yuhua Sect, she stood apart from the other Fang disciples through her talent, discipline, and cultivation; no one dared approach her while she trained in the Myriad Phenomena Garden 2.

She and Fang Xuan were the only Fang Family members selected to attempt the Immortal Feather Sect’s outer sect assessment. Their early relationship was competitive but respectful: she recognized his fortune and potential rather than dismissing him for acquiring rare treasures, while urging him not to squander his opportunity 23.

After becoming a Yuhua Sect disciple, Qingxue repeatedly fought and traveled alongside Fang Xuan. Their trust deepened after he protected her in the underground world, shared the Nine Dragons Stone’s secret, and gave her the Essence Bloodstone from the Flying Yaksha’s spoils 38 39 40.

Her Lightning Mother heritage led her to the Ancient Thunder Emperor Cave Abode, where she claimed the Thunder Emperor Talisman. The Yuhua Sect Leader Supreme later acknowledged her reincarnated identity and great destiny, allowing her to establish the cave abode as her own base 88 157.

Her resolve is matched by compassion toward those she accepts as family. She worries for Fang Xuan when he faces danger, accepts his secrets without demanding explanations, and becomes one of his most steadfast supporters 39 40 242.

Though often calm, she possesses a ruthless and decisive streak. After pledging to support Fang Xuan’s path to sect leadership, she declares that anyone blocking him—including Hua Tiandu, Ruyi Zi, or Meng Shaobai—should be killed 372.
