The blade of the Gokurokugai slammed solidly into Kaguya Yamai's abdomen. Fortunately, under the defense of her Astral Dress, her body was not cut in two, but the immense force still caused her to bend over uncontrollably.

A massive sound echoed throughout the forest.

When the smoke cleared, the scene within could finally be seen.

Xiu Er stood in the center of a large crater, and beneath his feet was Kaguya Yamai, who had been smashed into the ground.

After confirming that the opponent would be unable to get out for a short while, Xiu Er immediately turned his focus toward Yuzuru, who had remained in the air the entire time.

And Yuzuru naturally understood her current predicament.

Yuzuru Yamai had no advantage in close-quarters combat against Xiu Er; one only had to look at the fate of Kaguya Yamai to understand that.

Having quickly formulated a plan, Yuzuru dropped Kaguya in the eyes of Xiu Er and turned to flee, moving rapidly away from the area.

Watching Yuzuru's actions, Xiu Er immediately drew his conclusion, then glanced at Kaguya Yamai in the crater at his feet and understood at once.

She looked around; the terrifying robot was gone, and so was her sister, Yuzuru.

It was as if the two of them had deliberately abandoned her.

Just as she was wondering what to do next, a pair of feet appeared in her field of vision.

"I didn't expect you to get out on your own. I thought I would have to help you."

Without waiting for Kaguya to reply, Yuzuru grabbed her hand and pulled her up.

"No time to explain. Let's start quickly; she's about to catch up!"

"What... you want to use that?"

Kaguya naturally understood exactly what Yuzuru meant. In her mind, that was likely the only thing capable of defeating their opponent.

"Are we doing this? Now, right here?!"

Yuzuru didn't answer, only looking into her sister's eyes and nodding silently.

The meaning was clear. The two closed their eyes in tacit understanding, interlaced their fingers, and pressed tightly against one another.

A few seconds after they pressed together, The wind in this space began to converge toward the center of the two, and a gale, far stronger than before, enveloped the Yamai sisters.

Then, a strangely shaped giant bow appeared between them, which they both reached out to grasp.

Hurricane Knight - Sky Rider was the true form of the Wind Spirit's Angel, manifested when the two combined their individual Angels.

Using the Binder as the string, the Piercer as the arrow, and their Wings as the frame.

It possessed destructive and piercing power far exceeding that of their individual Angels.

The Yamai sisters controlled the Angel together, aiming at Xiu Er, who was waiting for them in the sky. They pulled back the chains that served as the bowstring, and the gale converged upon the massive Assault Rifle head that served as the arrow.

Xiu Er's sensors indicated that the energy gathering on that Angel far exceeded their previous output.

In terms of raw power, this was indeed the strongest attack the Yamai sisters could muster.

Because of this, Xiu Er felt as if he were becoming excited; that throbbing sensation gave him the illusion that his blood was boiling.

And so, he made his choice.

To the astonishment of the Yamai sisters, Xiu Er retracted Gokurokugai.

Instead of choosing to evade or interrupt their charge, he prepared to meet this attack head-on!

Damn it, I'm being looked down upon.

Unlike the calm Yuzuru, Kaguya felt a distinct sense of irritation toward Xiu Er's attitude.

"Let me show you, our blood-boiling combination technique!"

The charging of Sky Rider stopped.

The raging wind vanished, and for a few seconds, the space fell into a dead silence.

Then, the two released the strings in their hands.

This arrow let out a piercing sound as it tore through the air, the Piercer shooting toward Xiu Er accompanied by a gale, leaving a chaotic wake of wind at its tail.

The surrounding trees were all snapped in two by the shockwave caused by this attack.

And facing the Piercer, which was hurtling toward her with immense power, carrying both the gale and their combined spiritual power, Xiu Er's choice was...

She cranked the energy output of [Traffic Control] to the maximum the moment the Piercer made contact with her.

The scene they had anticipated, of Xiu Er being pierced through, did not occur; instead, what appeared before their eyes was a sight that would undoubtedly become the most unforgettable memory of their lives.

The attack originally launched by the Yamasei Sisters had somehow turned around, flying back toward the direction it came from—the sisters' own position!

The Piercer, accompanied by the gale, passed right by the Yamasei Sisters and struck directly into the ocean behind them, subsequently forming a sizable whirlpool...

Chapter 15: Meeting the [Sister]
