What did that mean?
It meant that, for example, killing the same Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast and turning it into a soul ring could only yield one soul ring.
But if it became a soul spirit, it could provide two or even three Hundred-Thousand-Year soul rings.
However, there was a difference between these two types of Hundred-Thousand-Year soul rings. A soul ring obtained by directly killing a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast was of higher quality.
Although a Hundred-Thousand-Year soul ring formed by a soul spirit was certainly stronger than one formed by a Soul Beast below the Hundred-Thousand-Year level, it was undoubtedly inferior to a soul ring produced by killing a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast.
After all, there had originally been only one, but now several were produced. Their quality would inevitably decline.
Second, spiritual power!
Fusing with a soul spirit placed enormous demands on spiritual power. Soul masters with insufficient spiritual power could fuse with only a very limited number of soul spirits.
Soul rings were different. They tested one's physical constitution more. As long as one's body could withstand it, absorbing a soul ring would not be much of a problem.
Third, the principle of willingness.
Absorbing soul rings was extremely simple. Whether the Soul Beast hated it or was willing, one only needed to kill it directly to absorb it. Simple and efficient.
But forming a soul spirit required the Soul Beast's willing consent. Unless its life had reached its end, what Soul Beast would be willing to turn itself into a soul master's soul ring?
So this was another limitation!
All in all, the Soul Spirit Method was immensely beneficial to soul masters, but it was impossible for it to completely replace the soul ring cultivation system. In fact, soul spirits were even more dangerous. Compared to hunting Soul
